And that all she said yesterday, she says she have one last trick up her sleeves for Shadow.

Shadow will not going to like this.

They heard a excited trotting sound from upstairs and down came the stairs is Pinkie, feeling better than yesterday and the look on her face means she have a plan.

Shadow is having coffee and a plain doughnut in Pony joe's doughnut shop.

Hmm, good coffee although it a bit too sweet, I told Joe no sugar in it.

The coffee pot next to him begin to bubble, Shadow look at it suspiciously when out came the pot is someone he does not like.

Shadow shoved his cup onto Pinkie snout and kicked the pot away, he grabbed his doughnut and make a run for it, he came across sweet apple acres, there he finish off his meal and relaxed in the shade of a tree on the hill he stood before, all was peaceful until and apple fell on his head.

Oops! Sorry! Just getting apples for my apple pie! Wanna help?

Shadow forcefully kicked the bark of a tree, the tree shook and Pinkie fell out of the tree and landed flat on the ground, the apples landed in a neat pyramid pile and Shadow heads for the hills.

He headed for Froggy bottom bog, the frogs are croaking there, Shadow relaxed at the sound until out from behind a tree.

Let's play skipping stones! We're on our own so we can be two players!

Shadow angrily toss her into the bog, she skipped ten time and then sank into the bog as Shadow dashes off, he ran all the way to Manehattan.

 How long will she keeps this up!?

He came across a diner where all the ponies are having a meal, he went through the door and stopped at the counter, the pony working behind the counter have it's back facing at him.

??? What can I get you sir?

Hot coffee and bagel with sour cream.

??? coming right up, you look puffed. What's chasing you?

You mean WHO'S chasing me, I've been chased my a mad pink freak who won't leave me alone, she's trying to get me to smile and I won't do it!

??? I see, well here's your meal and I only got one question to ask.

The pony turn to face him and said.

Would you like to have your meal to here with a smile?

No thanks! I'll just have it to go with a frown!

When that said, Shadow shoved the sour cream bagel at Pinkie face, making a mess on her face, he grabbed the coffee and runs off.

Shadow runs all the way to Dodge Junction, there he stopped to take a breather, while he is catching his breath a barrel next to him shook and Pinkie's head pops out of it.

Now this is what I called a barrel full of fun!, more fun than a barrel full of monkeys, if you run away again I want you to smile and do a barrel rol..

Pinkie couldn't finish her sentence because Shadow just grab a barrel lid, slammed hard on her head and nailed it down, Shadow dashes off into the distance, while Pinkie bouncing far behind Pepe le pew style.

You can run but you can't hide!

It is true, no matter where Shadow goes, Pinkie will be there waiting for him, running back and forth in Equestria, she even show up in Mobius too! Every zone he went, Pinkie is there, every places he been, Pinkie is there, he even teleported himself to his birthplace, the Space Colony ARK and Pinkie is also there waiting for him.

Back to Ponyville Shadow is gasping, his upper body is in a slump and dragging his feet in the dust and Pinkie is trotting behind him

*gasping*

Are you going to smile for real now? That was such a fun run!

Shadow had enough, he have given up, he couldn't take this anymore, frustratingly he turn to face her and said.

Grrrrr, Alright Pink! if it will make you to leave me alone, I will smile for real!

You will?! for real?!

Yes I will! And when after I did that, you will promise to leave me alone, get out of my quills and stop pestering me FOREVER?

Yes I will! Cross my heart and hope to fly to stick a cupcake in my eye! I will leave you alone for good after you smile!

GOOD! Now I can get some peace and quiet!

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!! Ok, stand at the end of the town, turn around and wait until I say "now we see Shadow's smile" and I'll start up the song!

Shadow, still fuming, did as he told, he walked down to the end of the town and wait, Pinkie pulls out a megaphone and spoke.

I like everypony attention please! I have finally convince Shadow to smile for real!

All the ponies murmured with curiosity and wonder, they have seen Shadow before but they never see him smile before, Twilight, Sonic and all their friends heard this as well.

Come along everypony, let's sing!!!

While the song begin to start and a parade have formed Pinkie's friends stood by the sideline.

Pinkie did it? She finally did?

Shadow going to smile for real? Did she have bats in the belfry?

Well, she's seem happy about it, I reckon' she not mad.

Suck it up Rarity, I've seen Shadow did a small smile when he's pleased but never see him smile for real, so it not like king Sombra will come back to life if he did.

it's just I can't believe she've gone and done it, she just took him to a lake and make him drink.

Twilight blushed with happiness when Spike said that, cuddled him and watches as Pinkie's smile song parade rolled by.

All the ponies sing along while they rolled down to the end of the town, Twi, Sonic and all their friends followed at the side only to stopped to where Shadow is standing.

 Come on and smile, Come one and smile, Now we see Shadow's smile!

On the word Shadow turns around and smiled for real, *record scratch*, upon seeing his face everypony gasped in shock and froze in their tracks, halting the parade, Twilight, Sonic and all their friends stopped dead in their tracks, wide eyed and speechless at this face. Even Pinkie with a horror look on her face froze in her spot.

Shadow have his real smile on but it's not a good one, his eyes are wide and his red iris have shrunk down it look like it could stare into your soul and his smile is so wide and creepy looking it look like a deranged murderer.

Pinkie's heart is torn to shreds, she did all those plans to make him smile and wasted her time chasing Shadow for that?

She awkwardly did a small smile and said.

On second thought, go back being grumpy grumpy pants again.

Shadow's face is back to it's original frown and said.

Good, my face is started to hurt.

And he walks off without saying a word, after saying that Pinkie's puffy mane started to poof up and then deflated to flat mane, Pinkie look down towards the ground in defeat.

The ponies murmured about the "smile" they've just saw, some were angry at Pinkie for wasting their time and work, some walks of feeling grumpy and sarcastically thanking Pinkie for that smile of awkwardness while others just walks off without a word.

Only Sonic, Twilight and all their friends minus Shadow are left behind, no-one said a word until they heard a small singing voice from a sad and defeated pink pony softly said.

I guess not everypony can smile.....
